As You Like It

I might as well provide some news about myself. I am back now in Austin after three weeks in Madras on vacation. I had a really great time out there, most of which was spent practising for our third Mridangam Thaniaavarthanam programme. The programme was in Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, on August 5th, 2005. I shall probably upload photos/audio of the programme at some point in the future. I am not going to provide any technical details about the programme here. However, I would like to point out that the programme was well attended by several musicians and we were really blessed to perform in front of Dr. T K Murthy, Haridwaramangalam Palanivel Sir (the chief guests of the evening), and other esteemed musicians like Karaikudi Mani Sir, Palakkad Raghu Sir, Guruvayur Dorai Sir, Flute Ramani Sir, Chinglepet Ranganathan Sir, T R Subramanyam Sir, M V Narasimhachari Sir, S R Janikaraman Sir, Aleppey Venkatesan Sir, …

Spent about a week here lazing around. I should get back to proper work tomorrow.
